Internationally renowned Chrysoula Kechagioglou (voice) and Maria Ploumi (mainland laouto) from Greek music ensemble Púrpura, team up with the music wizardry of Luke Plumb and members of Van Diemen’s Band to present ‘Story and Myth: Retold’.
Together they explore the shared narratives contained within folk song traditions from Greece and the British Ιsles, weaving the two cultures and traditions together.
